Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

The pay range for this position is between $19.00 and $28.00 per hour, guaranteed based on experience, with flat rates between $25 and $40. Starting day one, you'll undergo comprehensive technician training to prepare for your role. As a team member, you'll perform vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance, contributing to delivering a 5-star guest experience and ensuring safe, reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualification.
• Secure guest approval for work based on diagnosis; maintain a clean work area.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Test drive guest vehicles and safely use shop trucks for inventory pickup.
• Collaborate with team members and provide leadership to general service technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in the tool purchase program
• Ability to work overhead, stand long hours, lift 50 lbs
• Guest and team-focused mindset
• Maintain Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification in at least one area (A1-A8)
• Technical school certificate/degree
• State Automotive Certification
