Position: Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Compensation: Between $40,000 and $125,000 annually, depending on knowledge, experience, store franchise, and volume.

Schedule: Full Time

Job Duties and Qualifications:

• Performs work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses causes of malfunctions and performs repairs.
• Examines vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is needed or recommended.
• Communicates and collaborates effectively with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Conveys additional work needs or recommendations to the service advisor.
• Accurately documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required.
• Maintains knowledge of manufacturer technical bulletins.
• Keeps the customer's vehicle clean and maintains a clean work area.
• Operates all tools and equipment safely.

Requirements:

• Must have basic tools.
• Must have a valid NYS Inspector's License.
• Valid Driver’s License required for all positions.
