Primary Duties & Responsibilities
The hiring range for this position is $22.69-$28.37/hour. The deadline to submit applications is June 4th, 2025. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the position may close early once a qualified applicant pool is identified.
This is a VHBE (Variable Hour Benefit Eligible) position, working an average of 40 hours per week. The employee will be eligible for medical benefits, paid time off, and 11 paid holidays.
Summary of Responsibilities
The Inventory Control Technician manages warehouse duties for Aurora Fire Rescue, including receipt, storage, maintenance, issuance, and delivery of fire-related equipment and supplies. The role involves controlling inventory of uniforms, PPE, medical supplies, and other materials, working with the Quartermaster and reporting to the Business Services Manager. Work is performed with autonomy and reviewed through staff meetings and inspections.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications & Working Conditions
High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years' experience in equipment stock work, including purchasing and warehousing, are required. Knowledge of inventory methods, basic math, and computer skills are necessary. Knowledge of fire station materials is preferred.
Abilities include establishing effective relationships, effective communication, maintaining records, and physical capability to lift and move materials up to 100 pounds.
Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license with a good driving record.
Work involves physical activity, including lifting, walking, standing, pushing, pulling, and climbing, in various weather conditions and environments.
Use of a computer and inventory software is required; occasional use of personal equipment may be necessary.
