Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

Pay: COMPETITIVE! $16.00 - $35.00 per hour, with potential incentives.

As an Automotive Technician, you will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on guest vehicles. You will participate in a comprehensive training program from day one, preparing you for career growth. Your role is vital in delivering 5-star guest experiences by ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
  • Secure guest approval for work through diagnosis and maintain a clean work area.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Test drive vehicles and safely use shop equipment for inventory pickup as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of automotive technician experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Own basic automotive tools or participate in the tool purchase program
  • Ability to work with hands overhead, stand long periods, lift 50 lbs.
  • Guest and team-focused mindset
  • Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, where applicable

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8
  • Automotive Technician State Inspector License
  • Technical school certificate/degree in automotive technology
