Job Description

Pay: COMPETITIVE! Pay ranges from $16.00 to $28.00. This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives.

Responsible for the efficient diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of guests' vehicles. As an Automotive Technician at Monro, you will undergo comprehensive training from day one, preparing you for your role and future growth. You will perform repair services, work as part of a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, and ensure vehicle safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
• Secure guest approval for work based on diagnosis; maintain a clean work area.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs.
• Test drive vehicles and safely operate shop equipment to pick up inventory.
• Collaborate with team members and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Own a basic set of automotive tools or participate in the tool purchase program.
• Ability to work overhead, stand for long periods, and lift 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused mindset
• Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8
• Automotive technical school certificate/degree
