Job summary

Lexus of Milwaukee, part of The Ed Napleton Automotive Group, seeks an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in line with dealer and factory standards. You will diagnose issues, communicate with parts and service teams, and build customer trust through quality work.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as outlined on repair orders.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers or staff.
• Stay updated with factory technical bulletins and training.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Service Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
