Job summary

Cox Automotive in Grove City, OH is seeking an Automotive Mechanic Technician II to maintain and repair vehicles. The role features a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule (Tue-Fri, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM) and a starting pay range of $22.02–$33.08 per hour, with a $2,500 new hire bonus.

You'll perform diagnostics, service brakes, tires, suspension, and electrical systems, participate in OEM recalls, and benefit from paid time off, health benefits, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
• Safe driver's license required.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Providing highly skilled maintenance and repairs for all vehicles.
• Performing diagnostics including brake components, tires, suspension, drivability and complete repairs.
• Performing advanced diagnostics such as charging, starting, AC, OBDII and electrical systems.
• Completing mechanical inspections and documenting deficiencies.
• Complying with recycling, fluids and disposal procedures.
• May up fit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
• Utilizing approved vendors to obtain parts.
• May perform OEM recalls.
