Job summary

Cox Automotive in Grove City, OH is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician. The role requires performing preventive maintenance and a range of repairs across vehicle systems, with emphasis on safety and quality.

You’ll maintain vehicle history records, coordinate with vendors, and support Level II diagnostics and upfits as needed. The position offers a competitive hourly rate ($22.02–$33.08) with eligibility for performance bonuses and benefits; a valid license and clean driving

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of related work experience servicing vehicles instead of the degree).
3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Diesel Diagnostic Experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Performs preventive maintenance and repairs including oil changes, filters, and inspections.
Performs repairs across systems such as OBD II, brakes, tires, tune-ups, suspensions, electrical, ASE-related tasks as applicable.
Keeps shop area clean and safe; disposes of fluids properly.
Creates and maintains vehicle history and maintenance records; upfits may be performed on new vehicles.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Level II: light to major repairs and advanced diagnostics; coordinates with vendors for parts; provides roadside assistance; uses special equipment for welding and fabrication; diagnoses a wide range of vehicle systems.
