Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring an Automotive Mechanic Technician II to join our team. You’ll perform medium-duty maintenance and repairs as a mid-level auto tech, with a 4-day, 10-hour shift (Tuesday–Friday) from 7:30 AM to 6 PM, and you can earn a $1,500 New Hire Tool Bonus and a $1,000 Signing Bonus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
• Safe drivers with valid driver's license.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and repairs for vehicles.
• Perform diagnostics including brakes, tires, suspension, drivability and related systems.
• Perform advanced diagnostics (charging, starting, AC, OBDII, drivability, electrical).
• Complete mechanical inspections and document deficiencies.
• Follow procedures for recyclables, fluids, tires and trash.
• May up-fit new vehicles with equipment.
• Use approved vendors to obtain parts.
• May perform OEM recalls.
