Cox Enterprises is seeking an automotive technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs, ensuring vehicle safety and reliability. The role involves diagnosing systems, ordering parts, and maintaining detailed service records.

Qualifications include 3+ years of repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Diesel diagnostic experience is preferred. A New Hire tool bonus and signing bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• High school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of related work).
• Diesel diagnostic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes and inspections.
• Repair and maintain vehicles across systems including brakes, tires, and electricals.
• Keep shop clean and dispose of fluids safely per regulations.
• Maintain vehicle history and install needed equipment on new vehicles.
• Interact with management on additional duties.
• Provide advanced diagnostics and coordinate with vendors for parts.
