Job summary

CarShop Robinson is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles in a busy shop. You will work on domestic and import models, with flat-rate opportunities and the potential to earn substantially based on efficiency.

Qualifications

• ASE certification preferred with 2-5 years of experience.
• State and Emissions License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems to specification.
• Work on a wide variety of domestic and import vehicles, not just warranty repairs.
• Perform work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Complete full automotive troubleshooting and testing.
• Propose practical and cost-effective solutions to problems and process improvements.
• Explain repairs to service advisors and customers in clear terms.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional repairs.
• Ensure vehicles are repaired accurately and kept clean; road test for quality.
