Job summary

CarShop Glen Mills is seeking experienced automotive technicians to diagnose and repair a broad range of vehicle systems across domestic and import makes. You’ll work in a busy, high-performing shop with modern equipment and strong support from a large Parts Department.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• 5+ years strongly preferred for experienced-level opportunities.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• State and Emissions License preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability across multiple makes and models.
• Proven track record of high productivity and consistently achieving or exceeding performance goals.
• Ability to produce strong hours while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Takes pride in producing quality work the first time.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements in accordance with company policy and applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning
• Work confidently on a wide variety of domestic and import makes and models not just warranty repairs
• Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealer and manufacturer standards
• Complete advanced automotive troubleshooting, testing, and diagnostics
• Identify practical and cost-effective solutions to complex repair issues
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs clearly to Service Advisors and customers
• Provide accurate labor and time estimates for additional repairs
• Ensure repairs are completed accurately and vehicles are kept clean
• Road test vehicles as needed to ensure a quality repair the first time
• Maintain a clean, organized, and productive shop environment
