Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, via Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO), is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced service environment. You will learn under experienced technicians, perform routine inspections, and help explain repairs to customers.

The role offers on-the-job training, ASE certification support, and a pay range of $15.75 to $23.67 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth within a large, multinational automotive network.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Must have a valid automobile drivers license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes; Basic inspections; Repairing tires.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance.
  • Install parts.
  • Road test vehicles.
  • Support ASE certification efforts; tests and registrations fees are paid by the company.
