Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in our service team. Under guidance of experienced techs, you’ll learn hands-on tasks, perform routine inspections, and assist in repairs to deliver high-quality workmanship.

Starting pay ranges from $18.38 to $27.62 per hour, with flat-rate compensation and opportunities for ASE certification. A valid driver's license and basic mechanical understanding are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 2 years of automotive repair experience or demonstrated skills.
• Completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or third-party certifications.
• ASE certification or equivalent training recommended.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least one of A1–A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company pass or fail. Technicians receive bonus for each test passed)
