Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced service environment. You will work under experienced technicians to learn essential automotive systems and deliver high-quality workmanship to customers.

The role offers flat-rate pay with a pay range of $21.00–$31.56 per hour. In addition, BSRO provides on-the-job training, ASE certification opportunities, benefits, and a comprehensive teammate

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections, tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications within first two years (fees paid by company; bonus for tests passed).
