Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking an Automotive Technician to learn and perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance under supervision. You will inspect, repair, and service vehicles, with a focus on quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay range is $16.63–$24.99 per hour. The role supports ongoing training, ASE certifications, and opportunities to advance within a large, reputable tire and automotive service network.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes Basic inspections Repairing tires Reading, writing, and math skills.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience, vocational-technical school program or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment.
• On-the-job ASE certifications progressing within two years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue A.S.E. certifications within first two years of employment.
