Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under the guidance of experienced technicians. The role involves hands-on learning, customer interaction to explain repairs, and delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range: $15.75 - $23.67/hour with a flat-rate pay model. This position offers on-the-job training, ASE certification support, and opportunities for growth within a large, diverse team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair services.
• Oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
