Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician (NON CDL) to maintain delivery vehicles, heavy tractors and trailers.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls, using diagnostics and your set of hand tools. The role requires flexibility for 2nd or 3rd shifts, including weekend days depending on location.UPS offers wages, benefits, uniforms, and vacation; tools are provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Must have current automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Possesses a full complement of personal hand tools.
• Class A CDL is preferred but not required.
• Willing to work 8–10 hour shifts, 4–5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Meets DOT requirements for the job assignment.
• Operates and maneuvers various vehicles and equipment.
• Uses standard and power tools to perform maintenance tasks.
• Maintains safety and quality standards throughout shifts.
• Reports to work on time and adheres to schedules.
• Wears PPE and follows environment safety procedures.
