Job summary

Leeds West Groups in Colorado is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to perform repairs and routine maintenance on cars, trucks, and other vehicles in a fast-paced automotive retail and service environment.

You will diagnose complex issues, perform engine and brake repairs, and ensure adherence to safety standards while delivering quality customer service and supporting daily operations across locations. Mentors juniors and maintains OSHA safety compliance, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Active driver's license required.
• Automotive training or technician program completion preferred.
• ASE or other relevant certifications preferred.
• At least 1 year related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and safety concerns.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks including engine, brakes, and suspension.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and manuals to troubleshoot problems.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Perform quality control checks and test-drive vehicles.
• Communicate repair recommendations and estimates to customers.
• Collaborate with management to coordinate workflow.
• Mentor junior technicians and apprentices as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment compliant with OSHA.
• Stay current on industry trends and technologies.
