Job summary

Leeds West Groups in Arvada, CO is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform repair work and routine maintenance on cars and trucks. The role requires diagnosing complex automotive issues, using the latest tools, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, and communicating estimates to customers. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with ASE preferred and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• The minimum age requirement of eighteen years.
• An active and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; completion of automotive technical training preferred.
• A minimum of one year of related experience is preferred.
• Prior industry knowledge and/or experience is required.
• ASE or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work within the United States while employed by Leeds West Groups.
• Successful completion of an MVR check and ability to maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, maintenance, or safety concerns.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately, including engine, brake, and suspension repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment, manuals, and computerized systems to diagnose automotive problems.
• Perform routine maintenance services to ensure vehicle reliability and longevity.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose remaining issues.
• Maintain inspection records in accordance with procedures.
• Communicate repair recommendations and estimates to customers.
• Collaborate with management to coordinate workflow and service delivery.
