Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform basic and advanced car maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure customers are served with highest quality. You will inspect, replace parts, and pattern of preventative maintenance while following safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of automotive service experience, owns technician tools, holds a valid driver's license, and is willing to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ automotive service or mechanic experience.
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have technician tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
• Provide service of the highest quality to customers.
• Performs skilled mechanical work while analyzing and diagnosing problems.
• Inspect, replace and/or repair defective parts while performing preventative maintenance on automobiles.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interaction with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliers.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
