Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Automotive Technician in the Talladega area to perform basic and advanced maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure customers receive top-quality service. You will work with certified technicians, follow safety standards, and stay current with automotive technology.

Weekend shifts may be required. The role requires at least 2 years of automotive service experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background screen.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' automotive service experience in a professional capacity.
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have Technician Tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Pass pre-employment background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks.
• Inspect vehicles for potential problems and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure vehicle is performing appropriately and customer is taken care of.
• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge to service tasks.
• Provide service of the highest quality to customers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques.
