Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in McCalla, AL seeks an Automotive Technician to perform basic to advanced maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.

You will apply deep repair knowledge, replace defective parts, perform preventive service, and help customers with clear, professional explanations.

A valid driver’s license is required; ASE certification is preferred but not required; weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years of automotive service/mechanic/engine diagnostic experience in a professional setting
• ASE Certification preferred but not required
• Must have technician tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Top-notch customer service skills and ability to build trust with customers
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge and perform skilled mechanical work
• Provide service of the highest quality to customers
• Inspect, replace, and repair defective parts and perform preventative maintenance
• Diagnose problems and troubleshoot to ensure proper vehicle operation
