Job summary

Beechmont Automotive Group in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking an Automotive Technician with repair experience to join a busy service department. Factory training is available to become brand familiar, with a clear path for advancement.

The shop is air-conditioned, with family-friendly hours and a strong parts/service team. Responsibilities include diagnostics, inspections, and repairs per OEM standards, plus accurate time estimates and safe, organized work practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited automotive technology program is preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanical in a dealership or independent shop setting.
• ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training strongly preferred.
• Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record required.
• Proven experience with diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle systems.
• Familiarity with dealership service software and diagnostic tools is a plus.
• European automotive experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics and complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability repairs.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential safety issues.
• Complete repairs and services per manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors to clearly explain diagnoses, recommend necessary repairs, and accurately estimate completion times.
• Document all work performed using the dealership''s repair order system.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stay current with the latest automotive technologies and participate in training and certification programs.
• Utilize manufacturer-provided diagnostic tools and equipment with proficiency.
• Assist in mentoring and supporting less experienced technicians as needed.
• Test drive vehicles to confirm proper operation and quality repairs.
