Job summary

Beechmont Automotive Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our busy service department. We offer factory training to become brand familiar, if needed, and a clear career path. Our air-conditioned shop and family-friendly hours support a strong team environment.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, complex repairs, and proper documentation. Candidates should have 2–3 years of technician experience, ASE or manufacturer training preferred, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; automotive tech program preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of automotive technician experience in a dealership or independent shop.
• ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
• Proven diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle systems.
• Familiarity with dealership service software and diagnostic tools a plus.
• European automotive experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics and complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability repairs.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety issues.
• Complete repairs and services per manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors to explain diagnoses and estimate times.
• Document all work performed using the dealership's repair order system.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Stay current with the latest automotive technologies and participate in training and certification programs.
• Utilize manufacturer-provided diagnostic tools and equipment with proficiency.
• Assist in mentoring and supporting less experienced technicians as needed.
• Test drive vehicles to confirm proper operation and quality repairs.
