Job summary

Pep Boys Inc in Brownsburg, IN is seeking a professional Automotive Technician to inspect, diagnose and repair tires and automotive services while delivering excellent customer service. You will explain findings to customers and coworkers, and stay current with evolving automotive technology.

You will mentor teammates, maintain a clean, safe shop, and meet company safety and environmental standards. ASE certifications and a state inspection license are preferred, with flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ ASE certifications preferred (A4/A5).
• Section 609 certification preferred.
• State Inspection license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brakes, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension and alignment.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and coworkers.
• Continuously learn new automotive tech information through formal training.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe shop environment.
