Job Summary

We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our successful dealership service center.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the dealership's computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.

If you have a never-give-up attitude and are willing to problem-solve until you find the best solution for the customer, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes
• Assist in establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other protocols
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as tire rotations and brake pad replacements
• Conduct in-depth inspections of all vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, suspension, and brakes
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business
• Communicate necessary vehicle repair information clearly to customers
• Dissassemble and reassemble vehicles for collision repair (not dents or painting)
• Utilize computer skills and calibration tools
• Work with various makes and models including Tesla, Rivian, Polestar, etc.
• Participate in ongoing OEM training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program preferred
• ASE or SAE certification is advantageous
• I-Car Training certification preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills required
• Sign-on bonus available for ASE Certified or I-Car Platinum certified candidates; must be valid and up-to-date
