Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles within our service team. You will work under experienced technicians with hands-on practice, perform routine inspections, and help customers understand repair procedures while delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced shop.

The position offers a pay range of $17.50 to $26.30 per hour, with company-supported training and opportunities for ASE certification.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests and registrations fees paid by company; bonus for tests passed).
