Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, perform inspections, and communicate repair needs to customers in a fast-paced environment.

Under supervision, you’ll work toward ASE certifications, gain hands-on experience, and enjoy competitive pay ($17.50–$26.30 per hour) with regional pay reflecting productivity, plus benefits from day one and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license at all times.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair services, including: Oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• At least 2 years of automotive repair experience preferred.
• ASE certification or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years; tests and registration fees paid by the company; bonus for each test passed.
