Job summary

DARCARS of Silver Spring is hiring an Automotive Technician / Mechanic to perform routine repairs and diagnostics with some assistance. The role requires 3+ years of experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive technician experience required.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment background check required (drug screen).
• 4-day work week available.

Responsibilities

• Document all work performed on repair orders.
• Use multi-point inspection forms accurately.
• Communicate with service advisor for additional work.
• Maintain technician proficiency per company standards.
• Road test vehicles when needed to verify work.
• Perform diagnosis and repair on vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance services.
• Utilize manufacturer training and attend courses.
• Maintain CSI scores at or above goals.
• Follow safety and regulatory requirements.
