A prominent automotive service company in Baltimore is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic. The role requires at least 3 years in the field, with responsibilities including routine repairs, diagnostics, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Qualifications
3+ years of previous automotive technician experience required.
Certified in factory training is a plus.
ASE and A/C certifications are a plus.
Must have basic tools.
Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks.
Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.
Responsibilities
Document all work performed and repair order.
Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form.
Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed.
Maintain technician proficiency as specified by standards.
Conduct road test to determine work needed.
Perform diagnosis and repair on vehicles.
Perform preventive maintenance services.
Utilize training as assigned by manufacturer and management.
Participate in training programs to expand knowledge.
Complete work for warranty repair orders.
Ensure customer vehicles are returned clean.
Comply with all relevant regulations.
