DARCARS of Fairfax is hiring an Automotive Technician / Mechanic to perform routine repairs and diagnostic work on customer vehicles. You will handle light engine work, transmissions, electrical systems, HVAC, steering and suspension with guidance as needed.

Qualifications include 3+ years of technician experience; factory training, ASE and A/C certifications are a plus; CSI scores should exceed regional averages. Must have basic tools, a valid license, and pass background checks.

• Factory training certification is a plus.

• CSI and quality scores should be above regional average.

Responsibilities

• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Use the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or delays occur.
• Maintain technician proficiency per DARCARS standards.
• Conduct road tests to confirm repairs were completed.
