Job summary

Walterboro Ford in Walterboro, SC is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician / Master Technician to join our service department. We hire A-, B-, or C-Level technicians who can diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with high quality work.

You will work with diagnostic tools, perform engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC repairs as needed, keep accurate repair orders, and participate in ongoing factory and dealership training. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Professional automotive technician experience required.
• A-, B-, or C-Level technician capabilities preferred.
• Own set of professional automotive tools required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Experienced Automotive Technician / Master Technician

Walterboro Ford – Walterboro, South Carolina

Walterboro Ford is hiring an experienced Main Line Automotive Technician or Master Technician to join our growing service department. We are seeking proven A-, B-, or C-Level Technicians who can accurately diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while producing consistent, high-quality work.

Previous professional automotive repair experience is required. This is not an entry-level position.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns
• Complete engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and electrical repairs based on skill level
• Perform vehicle inspections and clearly document recommended repairs
• Use diagnostic equipment, scan tools, service information, and technical resources
• Complete repairs correctly and efficiently
• Communicate additional repair needs to service advisors
• Maintain accurate repair-order documentation
• Perform quality-control checks before returning vehicles to customers
• Keep your work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures
• Participate in ongoing factory and dealership training

Required Qualifications

• Professional automotive technician experience
• Demonstrated A-, B-, or C-Level technician capabilities
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned repair orders
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Own set of professional automotive tools
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Commitment to producing safe, accurate, and quality repairs

Preferred Qualifications

• Ford or domestic dealership experience
• Ford STARS training or manufacturer certifications
• ASE certifications
• Master Technician or Senior Master Technician status
• Experience with advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics
• Diesel experience is a plus
