What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems accurately and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and inspections
- Complete advanced repairs involving brakes, suspension, steering, engines, transmissions, drivability, and electrical systems
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical concerns
- Document repair procedures and service recommendations according to dealership and manufacturer standards
- Communicate repair needs and vehicle conditions clearly with service advisors
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Stay current on emerging automotive technologies and manufacturer updates
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic abilities
- Experience using automotive diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Basic technician tools required (specialized dealership equipment provided)
Preferred Experience
- Ford Master Certification strongly preferred
- Ford manufacturer certifications highly valued
- Previous dealership or high-volume service center experience
- Experience servicing hybrid and electric vehicles is a plus
ASE Certifications Preferred But Not Required
ASE certifications can enhance your competitiveness, though they are not required for consideration.
