Job summary

Capital Ford & Lincoln of Wilmington is seeking a Senior Master Technician who is Ford-certified to join our team. You will perform a wide range of mechanical services, diagnose and repair complex issues, and provide exceptional customer service.

The role requires Ford and ASE certifications, at least 5 years of experience as an automotive technician, with Master Technician certification preferred. You will work in a fast-paced environment at a Ford dealership with strong emphasis on quality

Qualifications

• Ford Certification and ASE Certification are required.
• Minimum of 5 years as an Automotive Technician; Master Technician certification preferred.
• Prior experience at a Ford dealership is required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of mechanical services on various vehicles in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Provide accurate and detailed reports of repairs and services performed.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain and update technical knowledge through ongoing training and certifications.
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs and answer questions.
• Collaborate with the service team to maintain a clean, organized workspace.

We are seeking a Senior Master Technician who is Ford-certified to join our team! This individual will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical services on vehicles, diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry and a passion for delivering top-quality workmanship.

Capital Ford & Lincoln of Wilmington have been serving the greater Wilmington area for over 20 years. We are part of the Capital Automotive Group. We have a dedicated Ford store on Oleander Dr. which includes a commercial truck/Diesel service center as well as a body shop. Our Black Label Lincoln store on Market St. was awarded President's Award for 2023, and also houses our mobile service division for Ford and Lincoln.

Requirements:

• Ford Certification
• ASE Certification
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with a Master Technician certification preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of automotive systems, mechanics, and components.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
