Job summary

Greensboro Nissan is actively seeking Experienced Automotive Technicians to join our award-winning, high-volume service team. We offer a strong earning potential of $70k-$100k+ per year with production and a yearly technician retention bonus, plus company-funded training and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional work and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Document all work performed on the repair order and maintain shop area clean.

Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.Document all work performed on the repair order.Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by service manager.Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean. Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.Keep shop area neat and clean.Maintain and be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
