Apple Ford Lincoln in Maryland is seeking Automotive Technicians to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models. No experience is required as training is provided, with a focus on customer service and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing engine, electrical, and other systems, providing labor estimates, and explaining diagnoses in plain language to customers. The position offers a strong benefits package and starting pay of $16–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• No experience required – on-the-job training provided.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Automotive technicians diagnose and repair vehicle systems.
• Repair vehicles to specification across engine, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, A/C, etc.
• Provide labor time estimates for required repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs in non-technical terms to customers and stakeholders.

Job Description

• Automotive technicians needed to make vehicle repairs


• Technicians diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification


• Mechanic to provide labor and time needed for additional automotive repairs.


• Mechanic to explain diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to all parties involved.

Job Requirements

• No experience is necessary – we will train.


• Team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.


• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license, clean driving record, good communication verbally and written, willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
