Job summary

AtStivers Ford Lincoln in Waukee, IA is seeking a motivated Quicklane Technician to start a career path in automotive service. You will work hands-on, learn Ford systems, and diagnose routine maintenance tasks in a fast-paced, organized shop.

The role includes changing oil, inspecting parts, brakes, batteries, and performing basic repairs while ensuring safety and quality. Training and Ford curriculum certification are provided, with a typical 8-hour shift and full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Preferred).
• Automotive repair experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil and filter changes.
• Inspect and replace bulbs, belts, and hoses.
• Assess, adjust, and service brakes; battery work.
• Inform team advisor of safety concerns on vehicles.
• Ensure quality control with safe practices.
• Begin hands-on Ford curriculum certification.
• Tire changes and fluid exchanges.

AtStivers Ford Lincoln, we are looking for a motivated, responsible person to join our team in the Quicklane to begin your career path to full automotive technician. Our dealership is fast-paced, organized, and built for the best technician experience! This is your opportunity to get your foot in the door and learn all you can about the automotive industry.

Our Quicklane Technicians come in everyday and work hands on at our dealership alongside pros of the industry. You will become familiar with all of makes and models, then move on to become familiar with the Ford vehicle line-up.

In addition to mechanical work, technicians use computers and interfaces to diagnose and repair a majority of repairs and maintenance

What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance, including:
• Changing oil and filters
• Inspecting and replacing bulbs, belts, and hoses
• Assessing, adjusting, and cleaning brakes
• Battery service, brake work, alignments
• Inform your team advisor of any additional safety concerns regarding customer vehicles
• Assure quality control with all vehicles through safe practices
• Begin hands on training and Ford curriculum certification
• Tire changing and exchanges of fluids

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experienced Technicians: $300 quarterly bonus
