The Automotive Technical Training Specialist at Southeast Toyota Distributors is responsible for delivering factory technical training to Toyota dealership technicians and fostering relationships with Toyota dealers to support technician growth and retention.

Responsibilities

• Provide factory technical training to Toyota dealership technicians.
• Prepare and deliver technical instruction in classroom, virtual, and shop environments.
• Develop training materials and courses.
• Build relationships with Toyota dealer associates.
• Manage technical training for assigned dealers, ensuring technicians meet training and certification requirements outlined by Toyota.
• Collaborate with Toyota dealerships and local/state automotive education institutions to recruit and retain students.
• Interact with Toyota Dealership Management teams.
• Overnight travel required: four to eight nights per month.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of automotive technical experience with a dealership or manufacturer.
• Multiple ASE A1-A8 certifications; ASE Master or Advanced Drivability Specialist preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint).
• Willing to relocate within the region (Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina).
• Motivated to act on department initiatives.
• Excellent time management and communication skills; growth mindset.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in automotive/technical fields is a plus.
