Job summary

Lenco Armored Vehicles is seeking an Automotive Technical Support Advisor to be the primary technical resource across the vehicle lifecycle. You will oversee warranty activity, coordinate repairs, support parts and service needs, and analyze field data to improve reliability and customer satisfaction.

The role is ideal for an experienced automotive technician, dealership service advisor, shop foreman, or diagnostic specialist transitioning to a customer-focused technical support function.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background and problem-solving for complex machinery.
• Ability to translate technical data into clear customer solutions.
• Experience using service/support software to manage customer records and history.
• Knowledge of safety rules, hazards, and technical documentation compliance.
• Ability to work with a diverse global customer base.
• Proven ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail in vehicle maintenance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle concerns remotely via phone and email with repair recommendations.
• Coordinate offsite repairs and service support with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Perform out-of-service maintenance evaluations and installation support for parts/accessories.
• Serve as primary contact for warranty claims to ensure accuracy and timely resolution.
• Create service orders to facilitate warranty parts shipments and coordinate vendor replacements.
• Maintain communication with customers regarding technical support and issue status.
• Track and document service activity and vehicle history within ERP software.
