Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking an Auto Maintenance Tech to perform essential repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. You will work in a supportive team, with a new-hire sign-on bonus of $1,500 and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Candidates should have up to 2 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate standard, automatic and electric vehicles. ASE certifications are preferred to support ongoing skill development.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance including oil and filter changes, fuel filter replacements, transmission flushes, spark plug replacements and inspections.
• Diagnose and repair brakes, steering and suspension, and electrical/AC systems.
• Repair tires, rear main seals, timing covers, radiators and interior/exterior components.
• Test, maintain and replace batteries and related electrical components.
• Complete routine maintenance on shop equipment.
• Source parts from approved vendors and assist with upfitting new vehicles.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures for recyclables, fluids, tires and waste.

What You’ll Do

You’ll perform light-duty work as an intermediate-level auto technician in a supportive team environment. You will:

• Complete routine auto maintenance, including oil and filter changes, fuel filter replacements, transmission flushes, spark plug replacements and vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including brake, steering, suspension systems, starting and charging electrical/AC systems (including evacuation and recharge).
• Perform a variety of mechanical and component repairs, including tires, rear main seals, timing covers, radiators and interior/exterior components.
• Test, maintain and replace key components, including batteries and related electrical systems.

• Complete routine maintenance on shop equipment.

• Utilize approved vendors to source and obtain parts.
• Assist with upfitting new vehicles with required equipment.
• Comply with applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations, including proper handling of recyclables, fluids, tires and waste.
