Pittsburgh Tomorrow is seeking an Engineering Technician to partner with engineers in designing and building test assets for next-gen automated driving development. You will lead integration of sensors and computing hardware into development vehicles and bench platforms.

Responsibilities include building harnesses, subassemblies, and bench setups, performing vehicle teardowns, and coordinating with engineers to troubleshoot issues. Strong hands-on skills and safety mindset are essential.

Competenze

• Associate degree with two years of employment experience or a high school diploma with four years' experience.
• Expertise as a vehicle, mechanical, or electrical technician.
• Electrical and mechanical skills for vehicle and bench builds.
• Strong attention to detail; follow detailed instruction docs precisely.
• Willingness to engage with engineering teams and provide feedback.

Mansioni

• Build harnesses for vehicles and benches.
• Assemble subassemblies for vehicles and test benches.
• Perform vehicle teardowns for upfit with development hardware.
• Modify vehicles by drilling holes and cutting openings in fascia.
• Assemble development hardware onto vehicles.
• Build rack-mounted bench setups with development hardware.
• Collaborate with engineering on hand-offs and troubleshooting.
