Job summary

Yoh is seeking engineering technicians to partner with engineering teams to design and build test assets, including vehicles and benches, and to integrate sensors and computers for next generation automated driving systems into development vehicles and test bench platforms.

You will build harnesses and subassemblies, perform teardowns and upfits, modify vehicles, assemble hardware, and create bench setups while collaborating with engineers to hand off new assets and troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle, mechanical, or electrical technician.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instruction docs.

Responsibilities

• Build harnesses for vehicles and benches.
• Build subassemblies for use on vehicles and test benches.
• Perform vehicle teardowns to prepare for upfit with development hardware installation.
• Perform vehicle modifications such as drilling holes and cutting openings in fascia.
• Assemble development hardware onto vehicles.
• Build rack mounted bench setups with development hardware.
• Collaborate with engineering to hand off new test assets and troubleshoot issues.
