Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Burlington, NC is seeking a Manager-in-the-Deck (MOD) to lead store performance, guest services, and daily operations, driving sales and profitability through effective team leadership and cost control.

You will recruit, coach, and evaluate staff; monitor financials, implement plans to hit targets, and maintain clean, well-merchandised surroundings. Weekend availability and vendor management are required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of management experience in automotive or retail settings.
• Proven ability to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales/profit goals.
• Strong communication and people development skills.
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility to work Saturdays.
• Experience in coaching teams to meet service and guest experience standards.

Responsibilities

• Leads store performance, guest services, and overall operations.
• Drives sales growth and cost control; manages margins and budgeting.
• Recruits, trains, evaluates, and coaches staff; conducts regular performance reviews.
• Maintains store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and vendor relationships.
