Job summary

Tire Max Tire seeks a Manager-in-Deck to lead daily operations of our automotive service center. You will drive guest satisfaction, sales, and profitability by overseeing staff, enforcing standards, and managing costs in a high-volume shop in North Carolina.

As MOD, you will set performance expectations, recruit and coach the team, review financials, and ensure compliance with company policies while delivering exceptional service to customers and their vehicles.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in management or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience in managing and coaching team members to success through effective communication.
• Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly and annual plans with clearly defined goals for their store.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.
• Previous automotive technician or similar position experience preferred, but not required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license or obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Sets expectations and communicates responsibilities, goals, training, development, and customer service standards to employees.
• Ensures compliance with company policies through regular meetings and store audits.
• Collaborates with HR to recruit, interview, and hire new staff as needed.
• Conducts regular performance evaluations for all employees.
