Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking an Assistant Manager in Minnesota to oversee daily shop operations, promote services and parts, and lead the team in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and the ability to work five days per week including Saturdays. Prior service advisor or automotive sales experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required.
• Experience in sales, customer service or an automotive related field.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday’s.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and on the phone.
• Document customer concerns; inspect vehicle and reference service history.
• Recommend services and clearly communicate additional recommendations to help customers decide.
• Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes with cost and completion time; give status updates.
• Follow cash-out procedures and explain warranties.
• Perform post-repair follow-ups to ensure satisfaction; track returns and warranty parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
