At Delaney Tire and Auto, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair, utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

The Delaney Tire and Auto Store Manager is responsible for business operations and store performance (safety, efficiencies, and profit/loss accountability). He or she promotes customer satisfaction and retention, as well as growth of existing and new business. The Store Manager owns overall operations in terms of cost control, inventory management, environmental compliance, and safety. They provide strong and consistent leadership to cultivate and maintain a harmonious, collaborative, and highly productive work culture.

We are looking for a seasoned manager with an entrepreneurial spirit who will assume responsibility for operations, financial performance, morale, and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has a college degree or some coursework (preferred), three years of experience in automotive repair, supervisory/management/mentoring experience, a background in continuous improvement, P&L experience, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians in the shop's operations.
  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule, and coach employees.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, listen, and consult with customers.
  • Follow up with customers regarding services requested and estimated completion times.
  • Oversee complete vehicle inspections, make recommendations, build computerized repair orders, and source parts.
  • Discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote shop service specials.
  • Lead, manage, and train the team, aligning with company values and vision.
  • Oversee all sales, accounting, and clerical functions from Service Advisors.
  • Supervise technicians' inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of domestic, European, and Asian vehicles and light trucks.
  • Maintain inventory counts and be responsible for inventory losses.
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility, including environmental compliance.
  • Manage employee payroll, record keeping, hours, and scheduling.
  • Update and submit daily sales reports to Corporate.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of store or service management experience.
  • General automotive knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong POS computer and internet skills.
  • Leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license.

Compensation: $50,000 - $75,000 annually.
