The Midas Store Manager is responsible for business operations and store performance, including safety, efficiencies, and profit/loss accountability. The role involves promoting customer satisfaction and retention, growing existing and new business, managing costs, inventory, environmental compliance, and ensuring safety. The Store Manager provides leadership to foster a harmonious, collaborative, and productive work environment.

We seek a seasoned manager with an entrepreneurial spirit who will oversee operations, financial performance, morale, and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has a college degree or coursework (preferred), three years of automotive repair business experience, supervisory or management experience, a background in continuous improvement, P&L experience, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule, and coach employees.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, listening to and consulting with customers.
• Follow up with customers regarding services, estimates, and completion times.
• Oversee vehicle inspections, make recommendations, build repair orders, and source parts.
• Discuss pricing estimates and promote shop service specials.
• Lead, manage, and train the team in alignment with company values.
• Oversee sales, accounting, and clerical functions.
• Supervise technicians in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles.
• Maintain inventory counts and manage inventory losses.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and environmental compliance of the facility.
• Manage payroll, record hours, and scheduling.
• Update and submit daily sales reports to corporate.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of store or service management experience.
• General automotive knowledge.

• Proficiency with POS systems and internet.
• Leadership and team-building abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license.

Compensation: $50,000 - $90,000 per year.
