The Midas Store Manager is responsible for business operations and store performance, including safety, efficiency, and profit/loss accountability. They promote customer satisfaction and retention, oversee operations such as cost control, inventory management, environmental compliance, and safety, and provide strong leadership to foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.

We seek a seasoned manager with an entrepreneurial spirit who will oversee operations, financial performance, morale, and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has a college degree or coursework (preferred), three years of automotive repair experience, supervisory/management experience, a background in continuous improvement, P&L experience, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all technicians and shop operations
• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule, and coach employees
• Deliver exceptional customer service, listen to and consult with customers
• Follow up with customers on services requested and estimated completion times
• Oversee vehicle inspections, make recommendations, build repair orders, source parts
• Discuss pricing estimates and promote shop service specials
• Lead, manage, and train team aligned with company values
• Oversee sales, accounting, and clerical functions
• Supervise inspection, diagnosis, repair of various vehicles
• Maintain inventory counts and manage inventory losses
• Ensure cleanliness and environmental compliance of the facility
• Handle payroll, record keeping, and scheduling
• Update and submit daily sales reports

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of store or service management experience
• General automotive knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong POS and internet skills
• Leadership and team-building abilities
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Valid driver’s license

Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 per year
