BIG O TIRES - Monteverde Group in California and Washington is seeking a skilled Store Manager to lead our automotive team and drive daily operations, service quality, and sales growth.

You will oversee technicians and sales staff, ensure high standards in maintenance and repairs, and create a positive environment for customers and employees alike.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, including sales, service, and administrative tasks.
• Supervise and motivate staff to achieve performance targets and deliver excellent customer service.
• Manage automotive repairs and services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repairs.
• Ensure technicians conduct diagnostics accurately using appropriate tools and mechanical expertise.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and promote upselling of additional services and vehicle accessories.
• Maintain inventory levels for parts and supplies, and coordinate with vendors for timely procurement.
• Oversee auto estimating and service writing to ensure accurate billing and documentation.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures.
• Manage cash handling procedures securely and accurately.
• Develop strategies to increase sales through automobile sales initiatives and service promotions.

• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, including oil changes, brake repair, transmissions, alignments, suspension, tire services, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair
• Experience in automotive repair shop operations, with familiarity in service technician roles and service standards
• Skills in auto estimating, service writing, and customer service excellence
• Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust
• Strong mechanical knowledge with capacity to oversee complex repairs, such as transmissions or diesel engines
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team of technicians and sales staff
• Effective communication skills, focusing on sales techniques and automobile sales strategies
